Who is CXDIE?
Hi, I'm Codie. You want to know the truth? I've always been a behind the scenes kind-a guy, who pretty much kept to himself. I should've been a mechanical engineer, but I found myself pursuing a ministry degree to devote my life pointing people to Jesus. I'm the last person you'd have expected to see on a stage, and doing whatever it is I do, but it's all been the grace and direction of God that I am here. . .
I grew up playing violin, bass, guitar, piano, and started rapping by 2015. Music was a way to express myself. I later gained momentum with the music and started doing shows, only to find myself sharing the stage with artists such as Toby Mac, Tauren Wells, Colton Dixon, & More. I don't really get how the platform became a place for a someone such as myself, but all I can say is that it is Christ who has brought me here. I'm just a messenger, as he continues to do His work on me. . .
So, CXDIE? Yeah. It's just my name. Codie. What's up with the X? If you read my name, you could read it as, 'C'hrist, Carried the Cross ('X'), and he 'DIE'd. This isn't just about Codie, or my story. It's about Him. It's all about pointing others to the cross, as I carry mine daily. My name, for His glory.
